In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Ack. I'm no good at this. My feeble excuse at a list.
1. Expect. I think a key to writing again is knowing someone is there expecting and anticipating the next 'installment' or what have you.
2. Befriend. Babble with me.
3. Empower. I'm thinking... seeing other people talking about getting pod-whatevers of their stories. That sounds so me. When I was young I used to think reading for audiobooks would be the best job ever. So... do I have the technological wherewithal and competence to pod-whatever?

About #3, Podfics/audiofics/audio-fanworks are one of the best things that happened to me fandom-wise and I'm super thrilled every time someone expresses desires to try to make some. So first: YAY and GOOD LUCK!! :DD
Secondly, if you'd like to find some a)tutorials, b)more people into podfics, I think you'll like communities or guides such as:
- podfic-tips (active Ask-for-help community on LJ)
- podfic-tips tag for "microphones" (for your specific current questions about microphones! Add your own post if no one answered what you needed to know.)
- A Beginner’s Guide to Making Podfic by EmilianaDarling (a clear short guide that covers all the basics, on tumblr)
- How to Podfic: Pointers to Guides and Tutorials (encouragement, resources and communities links, on Dreamwidth)
- A guide to podfic on Livejournal (Has ressources for creating, but also a list of fandom-specific communities, if you're looking to make more contacts!)
As for 1 and 2: These are my fannish goals too for the new year. XD I'm aiming to get nearer to them by participating in commnities or fests/exchanges more, and picking up prompts when doing my fanworks (so that I'm garanteed an audience of at least one!). Did you have any plans, too?

*Now* on the other hand... the same old plans rattle around the brain. But supplemented ATM with a couple of ideas sparked by a couple of responses others had to the day 2 challenge.
